Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, sliced peaches, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and flour. Gently toss to coat the fruit.

Make the Crumble Topping

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Mix in the cold diced butter using your fingers until the mixture forms large crumbles.

Assembling and Baking

  • Pour the fruit mixture into a 2-quart baking dish or cast iron skillet, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture generously over the fruit.
  • Place the dish on a baking sheet and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until topping is browned and juices are bubbling.
