  • 1 pint Fresh strawberries, ripe Juicy and sweet
  • 1 package Chocolate chips 10-ounce package, semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate – use high-quality chips
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut oil Optional, for smoother consistency

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cool running water and gently pat them dry with a clean towel or paper towels.
  • Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and stir in coconut oil if using.

Melting Chocolate

  • Microwave the chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring well between each session until fully melted and smooth.
  • Ensure there are no lumps and achieve a silky consistency.

Dipping Strawberries

  • Dip each strawberry by the stem into the melted chocolate at an angle, ensuring an even coating.
  • Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Repeat until all strawberries are coated.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate has completely set.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, can last in the fridge for a couple of days. Experiment with different chocolates and toppings for variety.
