Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 16 ounces Fresh strawberries About 24 strawberries, ensure they're fully dry
  • 10 ounces Chocolate chips Semi-sweet, milk, or dark chocolate for coating

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries under cold water, then gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Prepare your chocolate for melting using a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.

Melting Chocolate

  • If using a microwave, place chocolate chips in the bowl and heat in short intervals of 20 to 30 seconds, stirring between intervals until smooth.
  • If using a double boiler, melt chocolate gently while stirring.

Coating Strawberries

  • Dip each strawberry by the stem into the melted chocolate, turning to coat evenly and allowing excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  • Place dipped strawberries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they do not touch.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 30 minutes until the chocolate firms up.

Serving

  • Once the chocolate is set, carefully remove strawberries from parchment paper and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days.

Notes

For best results, ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping. Use high-quality chocolate for better flavor. For a decorative touch, drizzle extra chocolate over cooled strawberries.
