Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven and prepare your muffin tin.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients while stirring gently until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, combine the light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter for the crumble topping.
  • Fold the crumble mixture into the muffin batter gently.
  • Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  • Sprinkle crumble topping over each muffin.

Baking

  • Bake the muffins until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool slightly in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
