Instructions
 

Preheating Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.

Rolling Pastry

  • Roll out the package of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

Mix Cinnamon-Sugar

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.

Butter Coating

  • Brush the rolled-out puff pastry with melted butter.

Sprinkling Mixture

  • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the buttered pastry.

Rolling the Pastry

  • Starting from one end, tightly roll the pastry into a log.

Cutting

  • Cut the log into sections about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.

Arranging in Muffin Tin

  • Place the cut pieces upright in a greased muffin tin.

Egg Wash

  • Beat the egg in a small bowl and apply a thin layer on the tops of the pastries.

Baking

  • Bake the cruffins for about 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

Cooling

  • Allow the cruffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Dusting

  • Dust with additional cinnamon sugar if desired and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes
