Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and light brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
  • Mix in honey until incorporated.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until the mixture is shiny and consistent.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Grease or line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • In a small bowl, mix remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon with granulated sugar, then sprinkle over the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until set and edges slightly pull away from the sides.

Notes
