For the Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Adds sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon milk (or more if needed) Adjusts glaze texture
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances glaze flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather rolled oats in a mixing bowl. Measure out 2 cups and pour them in.
  • Add 1 cup of peanut butter to the bowl. Stir thoroughly to combine the oats and peanut butter.
  • Pour in 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup and mix until well incorporated.
  • Sift in 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and stir until fully blended.
  • Add in 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
  • Using your hands, take portions of the dough and roll into balls or flatten into disks.

Preparation of Glaze

  • Combine 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the formed cookies and allow to set.

Notes

Store at room temperature in an airtight container for about 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Can freeze for longer storage.
