Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 36 count regular Oreo cookies, crushed For texture
  • 8 ounces brick-style cream cheese, softened Adds moisture and richness
  • 16 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate) For coating and sweetness

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a plastic bag and a rolling pin or a food processor.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and softened cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
  • Use a cookie scoop or spoon to portion out small amounts (about one tablespoon) and roll into ball shapes. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the rolled balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Melt your chosen chocolate in the microwave or double boiler, stirring frequently to avoid scorching.
  • Once melted, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and place them back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Let the chocolate-coated balls set in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes until firm.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened, chill adequately to maintain shape, experiment with different chocolate types, and allow chocolate to set for a firm exterior.
