Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Slice the fresh strawberries and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add in the sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until combined.

Assembly

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the sliced strawberries in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Drizzle the melted unsalted butter over the cake mix topping.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes.
