Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Measure out your Ghirardelli Baking Chips and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.

Melting Chocolate

  • Microwave the chocolate chips in short intervals (about 30 seconds), stirring after each cycle until smooth.

Coating Strawberries

  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling gently for an even coat.
  • Place the chocolate-coated strawberries on the prepared baking sheet with space between them.

Adding Toppings

  • If desired, sprinkle toppings over the chocolate-covered strawberries while they are still wet.

Setting

  • Allow the strawberries to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  • Avoid refrigeration during this time.
