Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  • Add the Greek yogurt to the dry mixture and combine until it forms a rough dough.
  • Lightly flour a surface and turn the dough out. Knead gently for about a minute until smooth and slightly elastic.
  • Divide the dough into 4 to 6 equal portions. Form each into a ball and poke a hole in the center to create the bagel shape.

Baking

  • Place the shaped bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  • Sprinkle desired toppings such as Everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, etc.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the bagels cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature yogurt and don't skip the egg wash. Allow bagels to rest briefly before baking for better rise.
