  • 1 cup silken tofu Adds creaminess and protein
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate Vegan if desired, provides richness and flavor
  • 2 tablespoons honey Or maple syrup for a vegan option, adds sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional, enhances flavor
  • a pinch salt Balances sweetness

Preparation

  • Measure 1 cup of silken tofu and place it in a mixing bowl. Ensure there are no lumps in the tofu.
  • Add 1/2 cup of melted chocolate into the bowl with the tofu and mix well until uniform.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup to the bowl and stir gently to incorporate fully.
  • If desired, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix it in carefully.
  • Add a pinch of salt and stir the mixture to ensure the salt is well incorporated.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary. Once satisfied, transfer it to serving bowls.
  • Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least an hour to develop a thicker texture.
  • Serve the healthy protein packed dessert straight from the fridge or at room temperature.

Notes

Serve with fresh fruits or nuts for added texture and taste. Allowing the dessert to chill helps improve consistency.
