Filling

  • 2 packages 3.4 ounces instant lemon pudding mix Provides flavor and sets the filling
  • 3 1/4 cups milk Thins the pudding and adds creaminess

  • 1 block 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Creates a smooth texture
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adds sweetness and thickening

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by crushing the Golden Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  • Combine the crushed cookies with the melted salted butter in a mixing bowl, stirring until well moistened.
  • Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even base.

Filling

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant lemon pudding mix and milk until the mixture starts to thicken.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  • Layer the thickened lemon pudding over the prepared crust in the baking dish.
  • Spread the cream cheese and Cool Whip mixture on top of the lemon pudding layer.

Chilling

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is softened and allow ample chilling time for the flavors to meld.
