Preparation

  • Begin by gathering your ingredients in a comfortable workspace. Preheat your oven.
  • Measure out the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and whisk together.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the extra-crunchy peanut butter and mix until well combined.
  • Crack in the eggs and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Combining

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.

Baking
