  • 1 cup Chantilly cream For garnish
  • 1/2 cup more macadamia nuts For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine crushed Oreo cookies with melted unsalted butter in a mixing bowl until it resembles wet sand.
  • Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and pack it down firmly.
  • Freeze the crust for about 10-15 minutes to firm it up.
  • In a bowl, mix together the French vanilla ice cream, chopped macadamia nuts, and coconut extract until combined.
  • Spoon the ice cream mixture over the crust and spread it out evenly.
  • Return the pie to the freezer for at least 1-2 hours to allow it to firm up.
  • Warm the hot fudge topping until pourable just before serving.
  • Slice the pie and drizzle the warm hot fudge over each piece. Top with Chantilly cream and additional macadamia nuts.

Notes

Ensure Oreo cookies are finely crushed. Pack the crust firmly to prevent crumbling. Use a warm knife to slice for cleaner cuts. For variations, try using different types of cookies or nuts.
