Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth using an electric mixer.
  • Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Mix in the freshly squeezed lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract until evenly combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture using a spatula.
  • Mix the crushed graham crackers with melted butter until moistened.

Assembly

  • Layer the trifle by adding graham cracker mixture to the bottom of the dish and press gently.
  • Spread a layer of the lime filling over the graham cracker layer.
  • Repeat layering process, alternating between graham cracker mixture and lime filling until all components are used.
  • Finish with a layer of fresh whipped cream on top.
  • Garnish with lime slices and extra zest.

Notes
