Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the maple syrup to the mixture and beat until well incorporated.
  • Crack the egg into the bowl and incorporate it along with the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Scoop out the dough in tablespoon-sized balls and place them on prepared baking sheets. Space them about two inches apart.

Baking
