Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Add the white sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Crack in the egg and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix until well integrated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Pour in the melted butter and mix to achieve a cohesive batter.
  • Incorporate the dark brown sugar and vanilla into the batter, mixing until combined.
  • Add another egg, then fold in the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
  • Prepare your baking pan and pour the batter into it, smoothing the top.
  • Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.

Assembly

  • Mix cream cheese with whipped topping until well combined.
  • Start layering the trifles with crushed Golden Oreos, followed by a layer of cream cheese mixture, then pineapple chunks. Repeat until glasses are filled.
  • Finish with a dollop of whipped topping and a sprinkle of crushed Oreos or pineapple.

Notes

Allow the trifle to chill for a few hours before serving for best flavor. Use ripe pineapple for sweetness.
