- Start by opening the can of crushed pineapple and draining it well. Use a fine mesh strainer if available to ensure the fluff doesn’t become too soupy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and the drained crushed pineapple. Whisk until the pudding mix is evenly distributed.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a spatula, ensuring that the airy texture is maintained.
- Add the sweetened shredded coconut and miniature marshmallows, folding until they are evenly coated without deflating the fluff.
- If using, fold in the chopped pecans until evenly incorporated.
