Instructions
Prepare chocolate cake as instructed on the box. Bake, then let cool for 10 minutes.
Using the end of a spoon, poke holes all over the surface of the cake.
Warm the hot fudge just enough to pour, then drizzle evenly over the cake, allowing it to sink into the holes.
Let the cake cool completely before continuing.
In a bowl, whisk one pudding mix with milk until smooth. Pour over the cooled cake. Chill for 20 minutes to slightly thicken.
In another bowl, prepare the second pudding mix with milk. Chill for 10 minutes, then fold in Cool Whip gently.
Stir in 3/4 of the crushed Oreos into the Cool Whip mixture. Spread this over the cake as the final layer.
Sprinkle remaining Oreos on top. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Add gummy worms for a playful touch, or experiment with flavored pudding or Oreos. For crunchier topping, wait to add final Oreo layer until serving.
