  • Once the butter mixture is well combined and begins to bubble, allow it to boil for one minute while stirring. Remove from heat after boiling.
  • Stir in the creamy peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt into the hot mixture until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the quick cooking oats, stirring to ensure all oats are evenly coated with the creamy mixture.

Forming Cookies

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired. Scoop out portions of the mixture and drop them onto the prepared baking sheet, forming cookie mounds.
  • Allow the cookies to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until they cool and set.
