Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1 cup flour Structural base
  • 1/2 cup stick butter, cut up Adds richness
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts Crunchy texture

For the cream layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature Creamy texture
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar Sweetness
  • 1 cup whipped topping Lightness

For the pudding layer

  • 2 pkgs instant pistachio pudding Nutty flavor
  • 3 cups milk Moisture

For the topping

  • 2 cups whipped topping Lightness
  • 1/2 cup toasted almonds (optional) Additional crunch

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and stick butter. Use an electric mixer to blend until the mixture has a crumbly texture.
  • Add the chopped walnuts to the mixture and mix until evenly distributed.
  • Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until it turns lightly golden. Allow it to cool completely.

Cream Layer Preparation

  • In a clean bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioner's sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until fully combined.

Pudding Layer Preparation

  • In another bowl, combine the two packages of instant pistachio pudding and 3 cups of milk. Whisk until the pudding begins to thicken.
  • Gently spread the pistachio pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.

Assembly

  • Top the pudding layer with the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping.
  • Optionally, sprinkle toasted almonds over the top.

Chilling

  • Refrigerate the completed dish for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Let the dessert chill overnight for the best flavor development.
