Instructions
Preheat your oven to 415°F (213°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out your puff pastry on a floured surface until smooth but still cold.
Warm Nutella for 15–20 seconds in the microwave to make it easier to spread.
Cut pastry into two equal rectangles. Spread Nutella over one rectangle, then place the second piece on top and align edges.
Slice the layered pastry into 1.5-inch-wide strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Twist each strip gently and place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
Brush each twist with whisked egg for a golden finish (optional).
Bake for 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown. Let cool slightly on a wire rack.
Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Use a light hand with Nutella to avoid leaking. Chill twists before baking if your kitchen is warm for best puffing.
