Ingredients
  

  • 10 oz puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 1 cup Nutella adjust to taste
  • 1 egg whisked for egg wash (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 415°F (213°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface until smooth and even.
  • Warm Nutella in the microwave for 15–20 seconds until spreadable.
  • Cut the pastry into two equal rectangles. Spread Nutella on one piece, then top with the second sheet, aligning the edges.
  • Cut into 1.5-inch-wide strips. Twist each strip gently and place on the baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg wash (optional).
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  • Cool on a wire rack for 5–10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Try festive shapes like a Christmas tree or braid. Chill assembled twists for 10 minutes before baking for flakier layers.
