Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and place a rack in the center.
  • Grease your 8×11 baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, salt, tablespoon of flour, and half and half. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Topping Preparation

  • In a separate bowl, mix the topping flour, brown sugar, chopped pecans, oats, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add the softened butter pieces to the bowl with dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Baking

  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the pumpkin mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, until the topping is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool slightly.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature eggs and half and half, and ensure butter is softened. Let the crisp cool before serving.
