Preparation

  • Prepare pumpkin bread, baking according to package instructions, and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Slice the cooled pumpkin bread into small, even cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream and sugar, whisk until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold in cinnamon, vanilla, and maple extract into the whipped cream.

Assembly

  • Start with a layer of pumpkin bread cubes at the bottom of the trifle dish.
  • Add a layer of whipped cream, smoothing it over the bread.
  • Sprinkle toffee bits over the whipped cream layer.
  • Repeat layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream.
  • Top with granola for added crunch and visual appeal.

Chill

  • Chill the assembled trifle in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Use day-old pumpkin bread for better texture. Ensure the cream is cold before whipping for best results. Do not overbeat the cream.
