Melting Chocolate

  • Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted.
  • Spoon the melted chocolate over the filled molds, smoothing it out to ensure the peanut butter is completely covered.

Finishing Touches

  • Optionally, add sprinkles on top of the melted chocolate before it sets.
  • Chill the molds in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, allowing the chocolate to harden.
  • Gently remove the hearts from the molds and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
  • Let the hearts come to room temperature before serving.
