Ingredients
  

Cake and Cream Base

  • 1 box Devil's Food cake mix Adds chocolate flavor and structure
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk Provides creaminess and sweetness
  • 16 oz whipped cream Adds light texture and airiness

Flavorings and Add-ins

  • 22 oz caramel syrup Adds sweetness and moisture
  • 8 oz Heath English Toffee Bits Adds crunch and toffee flavor
  • 1 King-Sized Heath bar Enhances toffee flavor and decorates the trifle

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare the Devil's Food cake mix according to package instructions, whisking until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake as specified on the box until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a bit, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Combine the sweetened condensed milk and half of the whipped cream in a medium mixing bowl and fold until smooth.

Assembly

  • Once the cake is completely cooled, cut it into manageable cubes.
  • In a large serving dish or trifle bowl, start with a layer of cake cubes at the bottom.
  • Drizzle caramel syrup over the cake layer.
  • Spoon the sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream mixture over the cake and caramel layer.
  • Add a sprinkle of Heath English Toffee Bits over the cream layer.
  • Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used or the top of your dish is reached.
  • Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.

Notes

For best results, ensure cake is fully cooled before assembling. Chill for at least a few hours to enhance flavor melding.
