Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and green food color to the creamed mixture, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips, reserving a small handful for later.

Baking

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  • Press the reserved white chocolate chips gently into the tops of the cookies.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container. Use room temperature ingredients for better texture. Avoid overmixing to keep cookies tender.
