Ingredients
  

  • 2.25 cups flour use low-carb or keto-friendly if desired
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter softened, plus 1 tbsp extra
  • 1 cup granular white sugar alternative 1:1 substitute
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar alternative 1:1 substitute
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar free chocolate chips
  • chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter with sugar alternatives until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and optional nuts.
  • Chill dough for 15 minutes if sticky.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently if desired.
