  • 1 package Puff pastry Flaky layers, thawed
  • 1 cup Vegan chocolate Rich, melts well
  • 1 cup Strawberries Juicy, sweet flavor, sliced
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar For garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Almond milk Moisture, enhances richness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on the puff pastry package.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about a quarter-inch thickness.
  • Cut the rolled pastry into squares or rectangles for uniform baking.

Filling

  • Place a small square of vegan chocolate in the center of each pastry piece.
  • Layer sliced strawberries on top of the chocolate.
  • Fold the pastry edges over the chocolate and strawberries to create a sealed pouch.

Baking

  • Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops of the pastries with almond milk.
  • Bake until puffed and golden brown, keeping an eye on them to avoid burning.
  • Allow the pastries to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

Ensure the puff pastry remains cold for optimal puffing. Don’t overfill to prevent leakage. Experiment with different shapes for presentation.
