Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  • In another bowl, blend the softened butter with granulated sugar using a whisk until creamy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, whisking until smooth.
  • Gradually pour in the milk, ensuring it's fully incorporated without lumps.
  • Slowly combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture using a rubber spatula until just combined.
  • Toss the sliced peaches with the tablespoon of flour to coat.
  • Gently fold the floured peach slices into the batter.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish lightly and pour the peach batter into it, spreading evenly.

Crumble Topping

  • Prepare the cinnamon crumble topping by mixing together some flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the peach batter.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
