Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 225 g butter, melted and cooled adds moisture and richness
  • 340 g light brown or demerara sugar brings sweetness and depth
  • 2 pieces eggs bind ingredients and add moisture
  • 285 g plain (all-purpose) flour provides structure
  • 100 g white chocolate chips adds sweetness and creaminess

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease your baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted and cooled butter with the light brown sugar. Whisk until well mixed and glossy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition until the mixture is homogenous and fluffy.
  • Gradually fold in the plain flour until just incorporated with no visible streaks.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges turn a light golden brown and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the blondies to cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter is cooled before mixing and do not overmix the batter. Adjust baking time based on your oven's characteristics.
