  • 2 pounds Fresh Strawberries (Stems attached if possible) Use fresh, firm strawberries for best results.
  • 10 ounces Chocolate of Choice (Milk, dark, or white chocolate) Experiment with different chocolate types for unique flavors.

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries under cold running water. Place in a colander to drain, then gently pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

Dipping

  • Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate. Swirl to coat and let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Place the dipped strawberry on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat for each strawberry.
  • Add toppings like sprinkles or crushed nuts immediately after dipping, while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes until chocolate sets and hardens.

Notes

Store at room temperature for a few hours, or refrigerate for up to 48 hours. Freezing is not recommended as it affects texture.
